Orangeburg County is a county in the United States of South Carolina. The county has a population of 91582 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 90336, It is the 16th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 1128.09 square miles (2921.74 kmē), of which, 1106.16 square miles (2864.94 kmē) of it is land and 21.93 square miles (56.8 kmē) of it is water, giving it the fifth largest by total area among South Carolina's county.
