Orange Beach City is one of the city of Baldwin County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 3784 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6231, making it the 129th most populous in Alabama. It has total area of 11.39 square miles (29.5 sq km), of which, 10.4 square miles (26.94 sq km) of it is land and 0.99 square miles (2.56 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 115th largest by total area in Alabama. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Alabama.

The population density was 363.9 people per square mile (140.5/kmē), it is 194th most densely populated city in Alabama.
