Oradell Borough is a borough located in the Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8047 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 7780, It is the 204th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough comprises an area of 2.55 sq mi (6.6 kmē), of which, 2.42 square miles (6.27 kmē) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 kmē) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 240th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8047 residents, 457 households, and 284 families in the borough. The population density was 3319 people per square mile (1281.47/kmē), giving it the 214th most densely populated borough among the New Jersey. There were 2833 housing units at an average density of 1170.7 per square mile (452.01/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.83 persons, and the average family size was 3.17 persons. In the borough Age distribution was 25.2% under the age of 18, 5% from 18 to 24, 26.3% from 25 to 44, 26.9% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 109.1 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 112.3 females. The racial makeup of the borough was 7248 White, 39 Black or African American, 3 American Indian, 651 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 79 from two or more races and 26 Ohter races.
