Onycha Town is one of the town of Covington County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 208 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 207, making it Alabama's 52nd smallest. Its area is just over 0.84 square miles (2.18 sq km), of which, 0.84 square miles (2.18 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 46th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 208 people in the town, organized into 96 households, and 64 families living in the town. The population density was 249.1 people per square mile (96.18/kmē), it is the 293rd most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Alabama.
