Ontario County, New York is a county located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 100224. Its population was estimated at 104475 in July 2008, It is the 27th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 662.43 square miles (1715.69 sq km), of which, 644.38 square miles (1668.94 sq km) of it is land and 18.05 square miles (46.75 sq km) of it is water, making it New York's 35th largest county by total area.
