Ontario City is a city located in San Bernardino County, California, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 158007 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 171691 in July 2008, It is the 23rd largest by population in the U.S. state of California. The city spans an area of 49.86 square miles (129.14 sq km), of which, 49.78 square miles (128.93 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, making it California's 38th largest by total area.
