Okolona City is a United States city located in the Chickasaw County, Mississippi, United States. As of 2000 the population was 3056. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2872, making it the 92nd most populous in Mississippi. The city spans an area of 6.37 miē (16.5 kmē), of which, 6.34 square miles (16.42 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 95th largest by total area in Mississippi.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3056 people, 1177 households, and 786 families living in the city.
