Ohatchee Town is a one of the Calhoun County, Alabama, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1215 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1243, giving it the 256th largest population among Alabama. The town has a total area of 6.03 sq mi (15.62 square kilometre), of which, 6.01 square miles (15.57 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 215th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
