Odessa Town is one of the town of New Castle County, Delaware, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The town has a population of 286 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 337, It is Delaware's 13th smallest by population . Its area is just over 0.45 miē (1.17 kmē), of which, 0.44 square miles (1.14 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 21st smallest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 286 people, 119 households, and 84 families residing in the town. The population density was 652.6 people per square mile (251.97/kmē), it would be the eighth least densely populated town in the U.S. state of Delaware. There were 127 housing units at an average density of 288.6 per square mile (111.43/kmē). The average household size was 2.4 and the average family size was 2.8. In the town the population is diverse age-wise, with 19.9% under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 29.4% from 45 to 64, and 17.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.8 males.
