Ocean City Town is a town located in Worcester County, Maryland, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Ocean City Town is home to 7173 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7042, making it Maryland's 147th largest. It is spread over 36.39 square miles (94.25 kmē), of which, 4.56 square miles (11.81 kmē ) of it is land and 31.83 square miles (82.44 kmē) of it is water, it is the fourth largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland. It is ranks first in the size of its inland waterways in Maryland.
