Ocean City City is a city in the Cape May County, New Jersey, United States. The city has a population of 15378 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 14756 in July 2008, making it New Jersey's 92nd largest. The city spans an area of 11.07 sq mi (28.67 square kilometre), of which, 6.92 square miles (17.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 4.16 square miles (10.77 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 31st largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 15378 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the city. The population density was 2222.8 people per square mile (858.23/kmē), it is New Jersey's 320th most densely populated city.
