Oakwood City is a city in the Hall County, Georgia, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2689. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4392, It is the 207th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 3.13 sq mi (8.11 kmē), it is the 273rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
