Oakland City is a city located in Orange County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 936. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1142, It is the 143rd least populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The city comprises an area of 1.63 sq mi (4.22 square kilometre), making it the 236th smallest by size in Florida.
