Oakdale City, Allen Parish, Louisiana is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8137 inhabitants. The city spans an area of 5.13 square miles (13.29 kmē), of which, 5.07 square miles (13.13 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the 120th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
