Oak Ridge City is a city in the Anderson and Roane counties, Tennessee, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Oak Ridge City is home to 27387 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 27677, It is the 17th largest by population in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The city comprises an area of 89.92 square miles (232.89 kmē), of which, 85.55 square miles (221.57 kmē) of it is land and 4.37 square miles (11.32 kmē) of it is water, making it the seventh largest by size in Tennessee. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in Tennessee.
