Norton City is a city in the Summit and Wayne counties, Ohio, United States. In 2000, city's population was 11523 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 11472, It is the 158th largest by population in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city encompasses an area of 20.45 mi˛ (52.97 sq km ), of which, 20.12 square miles (52.11 sq km) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 sq km) of it is water, it is the 35th largest in terms of geographical size.
