Northlake Town is a one of the Denton County, Texas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 921 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2036, giving it the 945th largest population among Texas. The town comprises an area of 15.23 square miles (39.45 kmē), of which, 15.22 square miles (39.42 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it the 158th largest by size in Texas.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 921 people, 314 households, and 248 families living in the town. The population density was 60.5 people per square mile (23.36/kmē), it is the 55th least populated town in terms of population density. There were 366 housing units at an average density of 24 per square mile (9.27/kmē). The average household size was 2.93 people, and the average family size was 3.23 people. In the town the population was spread out, with 32.9% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 35.1% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 4.2% who were 65 or older.
