Northfield City, New Jersey is a city of the Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. In 2000, city's population was 7725 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7885, It is the 210th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The city encompasses an area of 3.45 square miles (8.94 square kilometre ), of which, 3.43 square miles (8.88 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 166th largest by total area among New Jersey.
