North Slope Borough is a United States borough located in the United States of Alaska. In 2000, borough's population was 7385 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6615, It is the 15th largest borough by population in the U.S. state of Alaska. Its area is just over 94762.64 square miles (245434.11 kmē), of which, 88817.12 square miles (230035.28 kmē) of it is land and 5945.53 square miles (15398.85 kmē) of it is water, giving it the second largest by total area among Alaska's county. It is ranks fifth in the size of its inland waterways in Alaska.

The population density was 0.1 people per square mile (0.04/kmē), it would be the fourth least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Alaska.
