It is the 31st largest by population in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The census designated place encompasses an area of 25.47 square miles (65.97 kmē ), of which, 25.46 square miles (65.94 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 18th largest by total area among Wyoming.
