North River Shores Cdp is a census designated place located in Martin County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 3101 people (2000 census). It is the 537th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 1.93 mi˛ (5 square kilometre ), of which, 1.3 square miles (3.37 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.63 square miles (1.63 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 280th smallest by total area among Florida.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3101 people, 1417 households, and 917 families residing in the census designated place.
