North Port City, Sarasota County, Florida is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 22797 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 54907, It is the 115th largest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. The city has a total area of 75.54 square miles (195.65 kmē), of which, 74.77 square miles (193.65 kmē) of it is land and 0.77 square miles (1.99 kmē) of it is water, it is the ninth largest in terms of geographical size.
