Its area is just over 10.58 miē (27.4 kmē), of which, 10.47 square miles (27.12 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, giving it the sixth largest by total area among Nebraska. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Nebraska.
