North Palm Beach Village is a city located in Palm Beach County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 12064 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 12149 in July 2008, It is the 228th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The city extends throughout a territory of 5.8 mi˛ (15.02 sq km ), of which, 3.56 square miles (9.22 sq km) of it is land and 2.24 square miles (5.8 sq km) of it is water, it is the 294th largest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 12064 residents, 6196 households, and 3327 families in the city. The population density was 3388 people per square mile (1308.11/km˛), it would be the 228th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Florida. There were 7325 housing units at an average density of 2057.6 per square mile (794.44/km˛). The average household size was 1.95 people, and the average family size was 2.58 people. The population's age distribution was 14.3% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 24.2% from 25 to 44, 26.8% from 45 to 64, and 30.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.1 males. The median age is 50.4 years, The median age of males was 47.9 years, for females the median age was 52.5 years. The racial makeup of the city was 96.22% White, 0.93% Black or African American, 0.09% American Indian, 1.22% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, 1.02% from two or more races and 0.5% Other races.
