North Newton City is a city located in Harvey County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1522. The July 2008 population estimate is 1592, It is 156th most populous in Kansas. The city encompasses an area of 0.86 mi˛ (2.23 sq km), making it the 214th largest by size in Kansas.
