North Kansas City City is a city located in Clay County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 4714 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 5746, making it the 139th most populous in Missouri. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.64 square miles (12.02 kmē), of which, 4.36 square miles (11.29 kmē) of it is land and 0.27 square miles (0.7 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 128th largest by total area in Missouri.
