It is the 63rd most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The census designated place encompasses an area of 54.59 sq mi (141.39 kmē ), of which, 52.62 square miles (136.29 kmē) of it is land and 1.97 square miles (5.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 17th largest in terms of geographical size.
