North Charleroi Borough is a United States borough located in the Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 1409 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 1314, making it Pennsylvania's 749th largest. The borough has a total area of 0.3 mi˛ (0.78 sq km), of which, 0.26 square miles (0.67 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 155th smallest by total area in Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1409 people, 650 households, and 388 families living in the borough. The population density was 5362.1 people per square mile (2070.32/km˛), it would be the 117th most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. There were 706 housing units at an average density of 2715.4 per square mile (1048.42/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.17 persons, and the average family size was 2.86 persons. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 19.9% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 23.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 81.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 75.9 males. The median age was 42.3 years, The median age of males was 37.5 years, for females the median age was 44.9 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 1369 White, 25 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, 12 from two or more races and 2 Ohter races.
