North Apollo Borough, Pennsylvania


North Apollo Borough is one of the borough of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 1426 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 1324, giving it the 748th largest population among Pennsylvania. The borough spans an area of 0.58 sq mi (1.5 kmē), of which, 0.54 square miles (1.4 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 385th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1426 people in the borough, organized into 583 households, and 430 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2662.3 people per square mile (1027.92/kmē), making it the 477th most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania. There were 626 housing units at an average density of 1159.3 per square mile (447.61/kmē). The average household size was 2.45 people, and the average family size was 2.89 people.
