Nodaway County, Missouri is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 21912. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 22054, making it the 52nd most populous county in Missouri. The county has a total area of 877.75 sq mi (2273.36 square kilometre), of which, 876.62 square miles (2270.44 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.13 square miles (2.93 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the fifth largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.

In the Nodaway County, 19.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 25.1% were 18 to 24, 23.1% were 25 to 44, 18.6% were 45 to 64, and 13.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97 males.
