Noble County is a one of the county from Ohio's 88 counties, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 14058 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 14333, making it the third least populous county in Ohio. The county spans an area of 404.59 square miles (1047.88 kmē), of which, 399 square miles (1033.41 kmē) of it is land and 5.59 square miles (14.48 kmē) of it is water, it is the sixth smallest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.

The population density was 35.2 people per square mile (13.59/kmē), it would be the third least densely populated county in the U.S. state of Ohio. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 22.6% under the age of 18, 11.7% from 18 to 24, 31.8% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 13.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 130.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 140.5 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 14333, The racial makeup of the county was 13082 White, 1124 Black or African American, 39 American Indian, 27 Asian, 0 Native Hawaiian, and 61 from two or more races.
