Noble County, Indiana is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 46275 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 47601, making it Indiana's 29th largest county. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 417.61 miē (1081.6 kmē), of which, 411.11 square miles (1064.77 kmē) of it is land and 6.5 square miles (16.83 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 32nd largest by total area in Indiana.

The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 47601, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.92% White, 0.59% Black or African American, 0.28% American Indian, 0.51% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 0.68% from two or more races.
