Nixon City is a city located in Gonzales and Wilson counties, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 2186 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 2188, It is the 603rd most populous in the U.S. state of Texas. The city encompasses an area of 1.13 sq mi (2.93 square kilometre), giving it the 348th smallest by total area among Texas.
