Niles City, Berrien and Cass counties, Michigan is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 12204 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 11258, giving it the 95th largest population among Michigan. The city spans an area of 5.92 sq mi (15.33 square kilometre), of which, 5.79 square miles (15 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 122nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12204 people in the city, organized into 5096 households, and 3051 families residing in the city. The population density was 2109.5 people per square mile (814.48/kmē), making its Michigan's 133rd most densely populated city.
