Nikolai City, Alaska is a city of the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population of the city was 100 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 86, It is the 96th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Alaska. It has total area of 4.88 square miles (12.64 sq km), of which, 4.53 square miles (11.73 sq km) of it is land and 0.35 square miles (0.91 sq km) of it is water, making it Alaska's 64th smallest by total area.
