Nikiski Cdp, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska is a census designated place located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 4327 inhabitants. It is the 20th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 76.21 square miles (197.38 square kilometre), of which, 69.62 square miles (180.31 square kilometre ) of it is land and 6.6 square miles (17.09 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 81st largest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4327 people, 1514 households, and 1131 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 62.2 people per square mile (24.02/kmē), it is Alaska's 90th most densely populated census designated place. There were 1766 housing units at an average density of 25.4 per square mile (9.81/kmē). The average household size was 2.86 persons, and the average family size was 3.31 persons.
