Nicollet County is a county located in the United States of Minnesota. Nicollet County had an official population of 29771 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 32027, It is the 32nd largest county by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is spread over 466.95 square miles (1209.39 square kilometre), of which, 452.29 square miles (1171.43 square kilometre ) of it is land and 14.65 square miles (37.94 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 16th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

The population density was 65.8 people per square mile (25.41/kmē), it is the 20th most populated county in terms of population density.
