Newtown Town is a town located in Fountain County, Indiana, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 162. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 155, It is the 42nd least populous in the U.S. state of Indiana. It has total area of 0.5 sq mi (1.29 square kilometre), makes it the 189th smallest by total area in Indiana.
