Newton Hamilton Borough is one of the borough of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 272 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 257 in July 2008, It is the 156th smallest in terms of population. Its area is just over 0.19 mi˛ (0.49 square kilometre), of which, 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 93rd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 272 people, 99 households, and 79 families residing in the borough. The population density was 1624.1 people per square mile (627.07/km˛), it is the 743rd most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 30.5% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 88.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males. The median age is 31.8 years, The median age of males was 30.8 years, for females the median age was 32.5 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 98.9% White, 0% Black or African American, 0% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.74% from two or more races and 0.37% Other races.
