Newton Hamilton Borough is one of the borough of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 272 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 257 in July 2008, It is the 156th smallest in terms of population. Its area is just over 0.19 mi˛ (0.49 square kilometre), of which, 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 93rd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

For every 100 females there were 88.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males. The median age is 31.8 years, The median age of males was 30.8 years, for females the median age was 32.5 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 98.9% White, 0% Black or African American, 0% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.74% from two or more races and 0.37% Other races.
