Newcastle City is a United States city located in the King County, Washington, United States. The city has a population of 7737 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 9885, making it the 126th most populous in Washington. The city encompasses an area of 4.48 sq mi (11.6 sq km ), of which, 4.47 square miles (11.58 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 203rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.
