New Underwood City is a one of the Pennington County, South Dakota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 616 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 675, making it South Dakota's 119th largest. It has total area of 0.47 square miles (1.22 square kilometre), of which, 0.46 square miles (1.19 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 210th largest by area in the U.S. state of South Dakota.
