New Town City is a one of the Mountrail County, North Dakota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1367 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1712, making it North Dakota's 39th largest. It has total area of 0.67 square miles (1.74 sq km), making it North Dakota's 157th largest by total area.
