New Summerfield City is a city in the Cherokee County, Texas, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 998 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1022, making it the 918th most populous in Texas. The city comprises an area of 4.69 mi˛ (12.15 square kilometre), it is the 448th largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
