New Providence Borough, New Jersey is a borough of the Union County, New Jersey, United States. As of 2000 the population was 11907. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 11905, It is the 130th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 3.68 square miles (9.53 kmē), it is the 156th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
