New Miami Village, Ohio


New Miami Village is one of the city of Butler County, Ohio, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2469 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2651, making it Ohio's 431st largest. The city spans an area of 0.93 square miles (2.41 kmē), of which, 0.89 square miles (2.31 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, making it the 620th largest by size in Ohio.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2469 people in the city, organized into 877 households, and 702 families residing in the city. The population density was 2782.1 people per square mile (1074.17/kmē), it would be the 129th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Ohio. There were 934 housing units at an average density of 1049.4 per square mile (405.18/kmē). The average household size was 2.82 people, and the average family size was 3.11 people. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 27.9% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 29.5% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.1 males. The median age was 33.7 years, the median age of male residents at 31.6 and the median age of female residents at 35.4. The racial makeup of the city was 2296 White, 132 Black or African American, 16 American Indian, 2 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 19 from two or more races and 3 Ohter races.
