New Lebanon Borough, Pennsylvania


New Lebanon Borough is one of the borough of Mercer County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 205 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 195, making it the 102nd least populous in Pennsylvania. The borough comprises an area of 1.29 sq mi (3.34 square kilometre), of which, 1.28 square miles (3.32 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 598th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 205 people, 78 households, and 58 families residing in the borough. The population density was 160 people per square mile (61.78/kmē), making its Pennsylvania's 59th least densely populated borough. There were 94 housing units at an average density of 73.4 per square mile (28.34/kmē). The average household size was 2.63 persons, and the average family size was 3 persons. In the borough the population was spread out, with 25.9% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 113.5 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 108.2 females. The median age of the borough's population was 35.7 years, the median age of male residents at 34.5 and the median age of female residents at 37.3. The racial makeup of the borough was 99.51% White, 0% Black or African American, 0% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.49% from two or more races and 0% Other races.
