New Hampton City is a one of the Chickasaw County, Iowa, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 3692 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 3400, It is Iowa's 97th largest by population . The city spans an area of 2.9 mi˛ (7.51 square kilometre), it is the 131st largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
