New Egypt Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2519. It is the 125th smallest in terms of population. It has total area of 4.07 square miles (10.54 sq km), of which, 4.02 square miles (10.41 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the 137th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
