New Castle Town is a town located in Garfield County, Colorado, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1984 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3796, giving it the 146th largest population among Colorado. The town has a total area of 2.36 square miles (6.11 kmē), of which, 2.33 square miles (6.03 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, making it the 152nd largest by size in Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1984 people, 705 households, and 538 families residing in the town.
