New Castle City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania is a city located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 26309 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 24212, It is the 29th largest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It covers total area of 8.58 square miles (22.22 kmē), of which, 8.54 square miles (22.12 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 57th largest by total area in Pennsylvania.
